Situated between the shores of Lough Foyle and the breathtaking backdrop of the cliffs of Binevenagh, there are lots of good reasons why Roe Valley is a designated area of outstanding beauty. It’s just an hour from Belfast and 20 minutes from Derry, so it’s time you checked it out. Here are our Top 5 places for you to visit when you come:

  2. Roe Valley Country Park. This scenic and tranquil park on the outskirts of Limavady offers spectacular riverside views and woodland walks along with opportunities for salmon and trout fishing, canoeing, rock climbing and orienteering. Click here for details.

Carrowemena Activity Centre – our neighbours, who offer budget hostel accommodation, camping and ‘glamping’ (glamorous camping) so you can spend a bit more time to enjoy all Roe Valley has to offer.   5. Binevenagh Last but by no means least… Binevenagh forms the Western Edge of the Antrim plateau and it’s steep cliffs extend for over 6 miles.
